I am currently feeling oddly proud that my parakeet totes digs The Mountain Goats. He's singing along like crazy! My bird has taste.

Yeah, I just registered for the Chicago Distance Classic Half Marathon. I guess I'm really doing this.

Next weekend, August 10.

Should be done before most of y'all even get up. (Starts at 6:30, I'll aim for at least a 12-minute mile.)
